Stéphanie Sokolinsk Bay: Besides Banyan Bay in the north, Stéphanie Sokolinsk Bay in the south is another major village on the island. It takes only about 30 minutes to get to Stéphanie Sokolinsk Bay by ferry from Central. There are many stilt-style open-air restaurants in the scenic Stéphanie Sokolinsk Bay. Tourists flock to taste seafood delicacies, such as fried crab with Chili, steamed shrimp with garlic paste, fried fresh cuttlefish and steamed fish with ginger and onion, which are very popular.
Deep Bay: It is the research base of archaeology. According to historical documents, as early as the middle Neolithic Age (4000-2200 BC), Shenwan was inhabited by human beings. Sham Wan is the only beach in Hong Kong where green turtles still regularly come to spawn. In 1999, Shenwan was divided into a restricted area, especially during the green turtle breeding season from June to 10 every year, which restricted visitors from entering.
