How to set the desktop in W7 system is as follows:

Method 1:

1. Click Start in the lower left corner of the screen, and then click Control Panel in the drop-down menu.

2. Click Change Theme in the pop-up Control Panel dialog box.

There are many background pictures in the pop-up dialog box. Select a landscape category.

4. Click Change Desktop Background in the Control Panel dialog box.

5. There are many landscape pictures in the opened "Desktop Background" dialog box, and we choose one of them as the desktop background.

6. Click Save Changes. The desktop background becomes the picture we choose.

Method 2:

1. You can also click Browse in the Control Panel dialog box and select a picture stored in your computer as the desktop background.
