1. Smoked goose When it comes to Wuyi Mountain’s specialties, the most popular one is Wuyi Mountain’s Langu smoked goose.
After slaughtering and cleaning the adult goose that is neither fat nor thin, put it in a pot and cook it until it is about 70 to 80% cooked. Drain the water after removing it, and coat it with chili powder, salt and other seasonings.
Use a tray to spread the paste and put it into a pot with glutinous rice in advance. Slowly roast the glutinous rice and smoke the goose meat over a slow fire until the aroma is overflowing.
The goose skin is golden and translucent, and the food is spicy and mellow. It is the most common classic dish on the tables of Wuyishan people.
2. Guang Cake Guang Cake is a daily snack in northern Fujian. You can see many Guang Cake stalls in Wuyishan Old Street.
The light cake is a small cake ball made of flour, which is placed on the wall of the oven. After baking, it is brushed with sesame oil and it is finished.
The light cake is crispy in texture, with a roasted aroma, and tastes very delicious. It is one of the daily favorite snacks of Wuyishan people.
3. Zhuzi Filial Mother Cake As the name suggests, Zhuzi Filial Mother Cake was invented by Zhu Xi, a famous Confucian scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty in Wuyi Mountain. 4. Lean Pork Soup Lean Pork Soup is one of Wuyishan people’s favorite breakfasts. The pork is minced and mixed with flour to make a paste. Finally, use a spoon to divide the pork into small pieces and cook it in a pot.

The lean meat soup tastes very elastic and has the natural sweetness of the meat. It is a breakfast worth trying when traveling to Wuyi Mountain.
5. Qingming Kueh Qingming Kueh is best in spring. It is made from wild wormwood. Usually, most of it is made with mugwort.
Wuyishan’s Qingming Cake is filled with fillings and the skin is elastic. Some stalls will also fry the steamed Qingming Cake on the side, making it taste even crispier and more delicious.
