Changxing Town is located in the west of Guanzhong, Shaanxi Province, northeast of Meixian15km, and at the junction of Fufeng County, Meixian County and Qishan County. Changxing Town is adjacent to Yangling District in the east, caijiapo Economic and Technological Development Zone in the west, Weihe River in the south and Loess Plateau in the north. The town covers an area of 40 square kilometers, with 25,000 mu of cultivated land and a total population of 310.86 million. Changxing Town governs 12 villages, 1 community neighborhood committees and 64 villagers' groups. It was named as "National Pilot Town for Small Town Construction" and "National East-West Cooperation Demonstration Zone for Township Enterprises" by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Agriculture, and it is a "provincial comprehensive reform pilot town", "municipal health town" and "municipal education strong town". Changxing Textile Industrial Park is the focus of Baoji City.

Changxing Town has a long history and simple folk customs. It is the hometown of Baiqi in Wu 'an County of Qin State, which was called "Changhuying" in ancient times. It is said that Chang Yuchun and Hu Dahai, the founding fathers of the Ming Dynasty, once camped here. Lingbao site, a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit, is located in Guohe Village, our town. It is a provincial patriotism education base and a red tourist attraction. Intangible cultural heritages such as double-knife suona sitting with two dolls, Changxing shadow play and peasant painting are widely known. The town's economic, cultural and social undertakings have made great progress.
