Youxi Town is located in the northwest of Jiangjin, facing Hualong Town across the Yangtze River in the east, bordering Yongchuan District in the west and Shimen Town, Degan Sub-district Office and Wutan Town in the south. After the organizational system adjustment in 2005, Youxi Town has jurisdiction over three towns: Shiyouxi, Wushi and Jingang, with a total population of 26 administrative villages, 178 cooperatives, 4 community neighborhood committees and 1 community committee. The whole town covers an area of154.1/km2, with 60475438+0 mu of cultivated land and 46 177 mu of forest. Youxi has always been one of the "old towns" in Jiangjin history, the first batch of pilot towns for Three Gorges resettlement, the national key town for ecological environment construction, the important town for sanitary ware and ceramics in southwest China, the "Top 100 Economic Towns Project" in Chongqing and the pilot town for small town construction.
