According to legend, there lived a beautiful girl named Ana in Miaoling in ancient times, and her hand-brewed mountain spring wine was famous in four townships. There is a man by the river at the foot of the mountain named Awa, who makes a living by fishing. They sang folk songs for 7749 days, and gradually fell in love. Because of the landlord's love, it is difficult for a pair of lovers to become a household.
On Tanabata after 9981, Ana, a mountain flower, was depressed and withered. Awa, who was extremely angry, took the mountain spring wine brewed by Ana and cooked the fish out of the river. Unexpectedly, the fish turned sour, and Awa, who was extremely sad, tied a boulder and threw himself into the river.
Later, in order to commemorate the lovers, people cooked fish in sour soup on Tanabata. Unexpectedly, from then on, the fish cooked in sour soup turned out to be delicious and fresh, and gradually became an indispensable local food.
