In 2017, the Extra Long Golden Week welcomed a large number of tourists. These tourists became the topic of people's attention. Many popular attractions became the topic. I also became a member of the Extra Long Golden Week. The place I went to this time was Lianzhou, and I became very curious about the Yao culture here. The beauty here lived up to my trip.

First stop: Huangchuan Three Gorges

More dynamic than Guilin’s landscape and more beautiful than the Yangtze River Three Gorges, the Huangchuan Three Gorges has the advantages of both. If it’s a rainy day, it’s best to take a boat trip early in the morning. The fog in the canyon has not dissipated, floating in the mountains like a fairyland. Many poets have been deeply shocked by the beauty here. The beauty here can really bear such a reputation.

Tips:

1. Take a boat trip to the Huangchuan Three Gorges for about an hour and you will arrive at the pier.

Yangtiao Gorge is the narrowest section of the Huangchuan Three Gorges, but it is very steep and beautiful.

Second stop: Yao ethnic song and dance performance

Lianzhou is also a famous hometown of longevity in China. You can taste special Yao cuisine in the restaurants in the scenic area, and beautiful Yao girls are already greeting guests at the door of the restaurant. Miss Yao warmly welcomed the guests, and after dinner, they moved to the performance hall not far away. The night here belongs to Yao's singing and dancing. The mountain demon is one of the four major branches of the Yao ethnic group in China. Performance items: Yueshan Yao, toasting songs, Yao chief drum dance, wooden lion dance, sneaker dance, bamboo pole dance.

Tips:

1. The origin of Guoshan Yao: In old China, the Yao people could not bear the discrimination and oppression of the rulers, so their family hid in the mountains and lived a hard life. So it is called "Guoshan Yao".

2. The Yao chief drum dance and the bag lion dance are national intangible cultural heritages.

3. Wood lion dance, usually performed by 2-3 people, is a prop dance unique to Guangdong and even China.

4. There are many interactive programs with tourists, and bamboo pole dance is one of them. The seemingly simple bamboo pole dance can actually be used in many new tricks.

Third stop: Lianzhou Underground River

The Lianzhou Underground River is actually a huge cave. The strange thing is that you can enter it on foot and then come out by boat. The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer, with a constant temperature all year round. It stays at about 18 degrees, which is very comfortable. Different from other caves, Lianzhou Underground River has caves, bridges, rivers and waterfalls, which are the four unique landscapes of Lianzhou Underground River.

1. The origin of the Lianzhou Underground River: According to geological surveys, about 200 million years ago, the Lianzhou Underground River was located in a vast ocean. Later, with the movement of the earth's crust, the sea floor rose to the land. During the second stable period of the earth's crust, a large-scale collapse occurred here, forming the current cave.

2. Scenery inside the cave: There are also three canyons passed along the way: 'Longmen Gorge', 'Lianhua Gorge', and 'Bajiao Gorge'. From the boat, you can see the waterfall in the cave.

3. The underground river is about 1,500 meters long, 10 meters at its widest point and only 1.6 meters at its narrowest point.

4. The cave is a natural wine cellar, and Lianzhou is rich in Huangjing wine.
