What does "all living beings" mean?
As we all know, all living beings possess Buddha nature. Therefore, we must treat all living beings as Buddhas. Because Buddhas and Bodhisattvas regard all living beings as Buddhas. Why should we regard other elderly people as our parents when we practice mindfulness and chant sutras, call them "old Bodhisattva" and call children "little Bodhisattva". Many scriptures say that I have become a Buddha, but you have not become a Buddha. If you can believe in this, you will have the nature of a Buddha. That is to say, the Bodhisattva himself is already a Buddha, and you have not become a Buddha. If you can believe it, you already have this Buddha nature. The Bodhisattva regards us all as future Buddhas, so the Bodhisattva uses compassion to save us. If when we go to save others, we regard them as future Buddhas, you may not be so casual, look down on them, and be impatient in saving people.
Dear listeners, it is very important to believe that you are an un-enlightened Buddha. Because when you believe that you have not become a Buddha yet, but will definitely become a Buddha in the future, you will definitely change your bad habits and practice good things. Because when you treat yourself as a Bodhisattva to cultivate and be a human being, you will definitely not dare to do bad things. When you want to be a Buddha every day and think of yourself as a future Buddha, you will not do bad things but cultivate good ways. What is the path of cultivating goodness? It means practicing good things all day long, being able to change evil and practice good, develop the great bodhicitta of benefiting oneself and others, and benefit oneself and others. Because when you save people, you benefit yourself, and you can also benefit others. This is called great bodhicitta. When we live in the world and help others, we are actually helping ourselves.
You help others and you help yourself. In fact, what you have generated is great bodhicitta. Therefore, we must cut off our confusion and worries in the human world. Don’t think about it, but cut it off. In this case, your heart will be your original mind, and it will be the true Buddha nature, and that will be the real Buddha of Bodhisattva. Sex is in you.
Everyone must believe that all sentient beings in the six realms are unachieved Buddhas. We must try our best to persuade them that we must maintain each other as the same kind and must never engage in evil practices such as fighting or killing each other. Nowadays, people fight with each other all day long, intrigues and deceit, and fight with each other at every turn. They regard the flesh and blood of their compatriots as beasts. At this time, your own heart is also like a beast. Because the Bodhisattva regards us all as Buddhas. How compassionate the Bodhisattva is. He regards all living beings in the six realms as Buddhas. Even the living beings in the ghost realm are regarded as future Buddhas. How compassionate the Bodhisattvas are. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva regards all living beings in the animal realm, hungry ghost realm, and hell as future Buddhas who can be saved, so he goes to the hell to save sentient beings. This is called Bodhisattva. Because he has Buddha in his heart, he is a real Buddha. And there is a demon in our hearts, and that is the real demon in the world. Think about how many evil things people do in the world. They are not done by humans but by demons. Can these people become humans? If there is a demon in your heart, whatever you do will be a demon; if you have a Buddha in your heart, whatever you do will be a Buddha.
