"Only this green" expresses a tribute and inheritance to traditional culture. Through the dance vocabulary, Only this Green creates a poetic, dreamy and ethereal artistic conception, pushes the beauty of China classical dance to the extreme, displays the oriental aesthetics in the charm of China's humanistic landscape, and lets the audience appreciate the artistic conception beauty of "harmony between man and nature", the posture beauty of "righteousness and peace" and the rhythmic beauty of "relaxation". Through the staggered narrative structure of time and space, this work allows the audience to travel through time and space, enter the heart of Wang Ximeng, a painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, and understand his lifelong enthusiasm for drawing a map of a thousand miles across the country. The difficult movement "green waist" in dance is inspired by the image of mountain peaks in "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains". The play not only shows the beautiful artistic conception of the painting, but also embodies the philosophical thinking and artistic dialectics of China's traditional aesthetics, such as combining rigidity with softness, alternating reality with reality, etc. In addition, "Only this Green" also expresses respect and admiration for nature and life, and conveys the oriental wisdom of mutual benefit between man and nature.
