1. General situation of the school

Beijing Sport University, referred to as "Beijing Sport University", is a national key institution directly under the State Sports General Administration, the only 211 engineering institution among sports institutions and a national double-class construction university.

Beijing Sport University is a dream school for all sports students, commonly known as "Tsinghua Peking University in the eyes of sports students". Therefore, Beijing Sport University has made outstanding contributions to the development of national sports every year, delivered a large number of outstanding athletes to the country, and achieved good results in major international competitions. As far as the 222 Beijing Winter Olympics is concerned, many athletes who won Olympic medals, such as Wu Dajing, Ren Ziwei, Sui Wenjing and Han Cong, are from Beijing Sport University.

2. Campus Construction

Beijing Sport University covers an area of about 755, square meters, ranking third in Beijing. There are two teaching buildings, a library and more than one hundred large and small sports venues in the school, which are distributed in every corner of the school.

No.1 teaching is the main place for all students to take theoretical courses. There are five floors, and the classrooms are "mouth-shaped" and hollow. The elevator was just built last year, and each classroom is equipped with air conditioning, so that students can study by themselves until 11 pm. The biggest use of the second teaching is the computer room, which is used for English audio-visual and speaking courses and computer exams.

the library has a floor of * * *, which is equipped with air conditioning and is rich in books, especially sports books, newspapers and periodicals. The library adopts the online seat selection system. Students need to swipe their student cards when entering the library and sign in when they are seated. However, the number of seats in the library is not enough, and whenever the final exam month comes, it is always "hard to find one". There is also a printing shop, coffee machine and water room on the first floor of the library, which is convenient for students to print materials and replenish water after studying.

There are many sports venues in the library. Apart from ordinary track and field, tennis, football, volleyball and basketball courts, there are countless indoor venues such as gymnastics, weightlifting, taekwondo, boxing and air-film skating rink, but these indoor venues are generally inaccessible to ordinary students and are only used for classes and training. The most popular venue in the school is the Tennis Complex, which is a free gym in Beijing University of Physical Education. Treadmill, elliptical machine, spinning bike and all kinds of equipment are all available. Every evening, you can see long queues outside the tennis complex, all of which are boys and girls waiting for exercise.

3. Dining Hall

There is only one main dining hall in the North Body, with three floors. The first floor is mainly for basic partners, which is cheap and large, and sometimes you can have a beautiful meal for 35 yuan. The second floor gathers delicious food from all over the country, from Yibin burning noodles to Hainan chicken rice, from Fujian snacks to Chongqing noodles, with rich dishes. On the third floor, there are halal canteens and the most beautiful ones. The deficiency is the same as the library, which is a problem of insufficient space. The class ends at 11: 15 or 12 in the morning and at 6: in the afternoon. The dining hall is packed and seats are hard to find.

In addition to the main canteen, there are two restaurants, Xiaobailou Restaurant and Western Restaurant. The food is equally delicious, but both of them are small in size and cannot accommodate many students.

4. Dormitory

There are three grades of Beiti Dormitory, namely 75, 9 and 12. There are 6 people in each grade, bunk beds and air conditioning. Six people in the dormitory * * * enjoy a big table, each person has a cupboard, and there is a public washing machine in the corridor. The difference is that the dormitory at the price of 9 has a balcony and a larger area, and the dormitory at the price of 12 has a single bathroom and a larger area, but even if there is a single bathroom, you need to go to the public bathhouse for bathing. There is a public bathhouse on campus, and there will be a small bathhouse in the dormitory building far from the public bathhouse. The bathhouse was just added with partitions two years ago, and there were no curtains. There is a water room next to the public bathhouse, so students can take a bath and make boiled water back to the dormitory.

5. Around the school

Beiti is located at the North Fifth Ring Road in Beijing, and the subway station next to it is Shangdi Station, which is more than 4 meters away from the north gate of the school. The nearby bus stations are Beijing Sport University Station opposite the west gate and Zhengbaiqi Station next to the southwest gate, which are very close, so the traffic is very convenient. Tsinghua University and Yuanmingyuan are next to the North Body. After these two places, they almost came to Wudaokou, so many students rode to Wudaokou for dinner and shopping, which took less than half an hour to ride. It is also very close to Zhongguancun, which is about the same distance as Wudaokou. Zhongguancun has many shopping malls such as Haidian Hospital, Snack Street, Shibao Street and Lingzhan Shopping Center, and it is also a place frequented by students of Beijing Sports Institute. Closer, there are Shangdi Hualian Shopping Center and Qinghe Wanxianghui, both of which can be directly reached by walking from Beiti, which is very convenient.

6. Teachers' Teaching

Almost all the teachers in Beijing Sport University are doctoral students from prestigious schools or returned from studying abroad, and the teachers with older qualifications are the top figures in the industry, so the teaching staff should not be underestimated. The teaching equipment, various experimental instruments, teaching AIDS and teaching environment in the school are also very complete.

It is worth mentioning that as a discipline student (non-sports student), Beihui will arrange two semesters of physical education elective courses, including boxing, tennis, swimming, fitness, taekwondo and other physical education class for students to choose from, and the teachers are probably retired world champions or famous athletes.

7. Summary of study experience

I think I am satisfied with studying in Beijing Sport University in general. No matter the campus environment or the teaching quality, I like the campus atmosphere of Beijing Sport University, which is always full of youthful vitality, handsome men and beautiful women who show youthful hormones, and I like that the school always considers for students and brings warmth to students who leave home. However, there are still many shortcomings, such as canteens and libraries, which are difficult to occupy seats, such as venues closed to students and so on. These good and bad constitute my dear alma mater.
