Porcelain City actually refers to Liling City in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, China, which is a county-level city in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province.

It belongs to the east of Zhuzhou and is adjacent to Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. Liling, as one of the eight major ceramic producing areas in China, had the reputation of "Liling is the world's most famous porcelain" in its early years. During the late Qing Dynasty, Liling ceramics, which were as white as jade, as bright as a mirror, as thin as paper and as loud as a tune, enjoyed a good reputation both at home and abroad, and were called "the pinnacle of oriental ceramic art". Moreover, it has a history of more than 1,7 years. As early as the Eastern Han Dynasty, Liling began to produce porcelain. Therefore, the porcelain culture in Liling City is of great historical significance.

Special Cuisine

There are many special cuisines in Liling, such as Liling fried powder, Liling roasted meat and Liling steamed grass carp. Many famous figures in history were born here, such as Li Yi, the founder of fireworks, and Pi Longrong, one of the three ministers in the Southern Song Dynasty.
