Where is the largest snack street in the world?

"Tianjie Snacks", which brings together 120 time-honored snacks from 56 ethnic groups, will be unveiled in Beijing's Qianmen Commercial Street on August 8, 2008, of which half will be traditional snacks from old Beijing.

Although "Tianjie Snacks" is positioned in the tourist market, the price will never be higher than the current "Jiumen Snacks".

Although the "Tianjie Snacks" project and the "Jiumen Snacks" are both created by the Old Beijing Traditional Snacks Association, the former will focus on Beijing snacks and bring together snacks from 56 ethnic groups across the country.

Hou Jia, president of the Old Beijing Traditional Snacks Association and general manager of Beijing Jiumen Traditional Snacks Co., Ltd., said that "Tianjie Snacks" is located near the Qianmen Street Overpass and has 120 shops, of which old Beijing traditional snacks will account for 50%.

At present, 30 old Beijing traditional snacks such as Baishui Sheep's Head Plum, Rice Cake Poplar, Barbeque Season, Wonton Hou, and Tea Soup Plum have been confirmed and signed to settle in "Tianjie Snacks".

(Dumplings) Liu and more than 10 traditional snacks from other places have also signed contracts to enter.

One month later, the "Tianjie Snacks" stores will start renovations and are expected to be trial-opened on June 16, 2008, and will officially open on August 8, 2008, the opening day of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Hou Jia said that "Tianjie Snacks" will also apply for Guinness World Records because it will become the snack "assembly area" with the largest snack business area, the most ethnic groups involved in snacks, and the most varieties of snacks in the world.

Moreover, within five years, "Tianjie Snacks" will go abroad with snacks from 56 ethnic groups and develop foreign markets.
