ShenzhenUniversity, referred to as "Shenda" for short, is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, and was founded with the approval of the State Council in 1983. The central government, the Ministry of Education and local governments attach great importance to the construction of universities in the SAR. Peking University aided Chinese and foreign languages disciplines, Tsinghua University aided electronics and architecture disciplines, and China Renmin University aided economics and law disciplines. The school's educational level ranged from bachelor's and master's degree to doctoral education. Shenzhen University has two campuses, Houhai and Lihu, so students of Shenzhen University are not distributed in one campus, but are assigned to different campuses according to different majors.
