What preparations should be done before going?
You need to apply for a Hong Kong and Macao pass and endorsement. If it is a group visa, you cannot travel freely. An individual travel visa will do. You can book air tickets on Qunar.com or Ctrip.com. It is recommended to book a flight + hotel package.
It will be cheaper. Hotels in Hong Kong are generally more expensive. Hotels booked through Ctrip can basically delay check-out until 2 p.m. For accommodation, the cheapest and most affordable places are Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Yuen Long, and North Point.
The place is also cheap, but it's too remote, so it's not very convenient to go shopping or sightseeing in person.
If you want to exchange money, you can usually go to the Bank of China. You need to fill out a foreign exchange exchange form and bring your ID card. If there is online banking, you can directly handle the "foreign exchange settlement and sale" business through online banking. You can directly buy Hong Kong dollars and then withdraw it.
There are many Hong Kong dollar denominations, the largest is 1,000 yuan, which can be exchanged for 500, 200 and 100.
However, in Hong Kong, you don’t have to worry about counterfeit change for large denomination banknotes. I have never encountered this so far.
Four days and three nights is really not enough to visit many attractions. After passing the customs, you can apply for an Octopus card, which will be very convenient for taking cars and other things. You can recharge it with 500 yuan, which can be refunded when you leave.
Attractions: It’s the Peak of Victoria Peak. You can take a look at Government House on the way. When you come down from the mountain, you can go to Lan Kwai Fong in the evening to experience the atmosphere of Hong Kong’s bar street, but the cost is not low; along the Avenue of Stars, there are the Hong Kong Observatory and the Museum of Art.
, you can go to the movies, as well as the Golden Bauhinia Square and the night view of Victoria Harbor. There is also the Harbor City where you can go shopping and there are duty-free shops; and you can also go to see Disneyland. Usually I change at the Admiralty MTR Station.
Directly connected to Disneyland bus.
If you want to experience Hong Kong’s authentic food, you can go to the old streets of Yuen Long or Mong Kok.
That's basically it.
Hong Kong food: Authentic ones are: Yuen Long, Heng Heung Wife Cake, B'Zai Jelly (Jia Kee Dessert Shop), Victory Beef Balls, Che Tsai Noodles, etc.; Mong Kok, Bob Cake, Che Tsai Noodles, dim sum, Yishun Milk Company
.
Other delicious things are that the hot pot is great. Generally, the Chinese hot pot is Daoxiang and Little Sheep. The Japanese hot pot has the beef hot pot, called Ushijing, which is great.
Thai food is also good, but the prices are relatively high.
Consumption in Hong Kong is not as good as in China. With the exchange rate, you can relax. Anyway, you have spent all the air tickets~~ Notes: charging plugs, but the hotel provides them for rent. You can rent them with money, and the deposit will be refunded when you return them; queue up
Order, Hong Kong people are relatively disciplined, especially when waiting for the subway, they will line up in a regular manner; although the RMB exchange rate is high, many private stores in Hong Kong do not accept RMB, so you still have to exchange more Hong Kong dollars, but shopping places are basically
UnionPay cards can be swiped, and UnionPay credit cards are also accepted, so you don’t have to worry; indoor air conditioners in Hong Kong are generally cold, so it’s best to bring long-sleeved clothes to keep warm; the interiors of Hong Kong hotels are very small, so don’t mind.
All neat and clean.
