How to make eight-treasure rice
1
Soak glutinous rice and lotus seeds one night in advance
2
After they are cooked Drain the water
3
Steam in a pot
4
Wash the red dates, cut them into small pieces and place them ( The bowl needs to be brushed with oil. I didn’t brush this one because the pork belly is no longer sticky after steaming it normally.)
5
Put a candied date in the middle and add the raisins, as shown in the picture
6
Place clear red silk
7
Place separated lotus seeds as shown in the picture
8
Take out the steamed glutinous rice, add cooking oil (I should have used lard, but my mother-in-law couldn’t eat it, so I used salad oil), sugar, and mix well
9< /p>
Put it into a bowl with a spoon, press it lightly,
10
When it is two-thirds of the way spread, spread a layer of red bean paste filling
11
Then cover with glutinous rice
12
Steam it for about 30 minutes
