Which places in Anhui have delicious snacks?

Recently, the eleven departments jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Cultivating Traditional Advantageous Food Producing Areas and Local Specialty Food Industries" and launched a "National Food Map" to introduce the food in some regions.

As a food lover, I quickly checked and saw many familiar delicacies in the introduction, but unfortunately I did not see the special delicacies of my hometown Huainan.

But it doesn’t matter, today I will introduce to my friends some of the most famous and representative delicacies in Huainan.

01. Huainan beef soup.

As a Huainan person, everyone must know this delicacy, even if it is placed among Anhui delicacies, it can still be ranked among the best.

Nutritious beef bone soup is cooked in an extra-large iron pot, and the sides of the pot are filled with bright red dried chili peppers.

The soft vermicelli, browned bean cakes, tender meat and uniformly thick slices of beef make you more appetizing just by looking at it.

In addition, the beef soup in Huainan is not expensive. A serving of authentic Huainan beef soup only costs 10 yuan.

Every time I eat Huainan beef soup, I like to go to the snack street next to Huainan United University or the Anli Engineering Canteen. I think the Huainan beef soup in these two places is the most authentic and the largest.

02. Shouxian Hu spicy soup.

When I was a child, my grandfather would take me to a "restaurant" every weekend, and I would always order a spicy soup.

The main ingredients in Hu spicy soup include peanuts, kelp shreds, Qianzhang shreds, gluten, etc. At that time, a bowl of Hu spicy soup cost 5 cents, but now it costs 1 yuan a bowl.

Every time I drink spicy soup, I add a little dried chili powder on the table and drink it. It tastes delicious.

Now that my grandpa has left me, I still occasionally go to the "snack bar" on the street in the morning and order a bowl of spicy soup, which can be regarded as a way to express my longing for him.

03. Shouzhou Yuanzi.

Shouzhou Yuanzi was also a hot search on the Internet not long ago. The reason was that Zhang Songwen, the actor who played Gao Qiqiang in "Hurry", once praised the deliciousness of Shouzhou Yuanzi on a social platform.

The main ingredients of Shouzhou dumplings are eggs, flour and pork belly. During the production process, auxiliary ingredients such as green onions and ginger are added, and the balls are rolled into balls, then sprinkled with a layer of cornstarch, put into a pot of boiling water and cooked, and wait until the time is up.

It can be fished out and eaten.

(In addition, Shouzhou Yuanzi means happy reunion, which also makes it a must-order dish for wedding banquets in Huainan) 04. Bagongshan Tofu.

Bagong Mountain is the birthplace of tofu. King Liu An of Huainan accidentally invented this dish, which has now become a delicacy all over the country.

The more famous tofu dishes in Huainan are "Shi Miao Liu Du" and "Hua Kai Fu Gui".

"Shimiao Liudu" is simply fried tofu. This dish is derived from the idiom "Shimiao Liudu", which means to be innocent, and is very similar to the characteristics of tofu itself.

And "Blooming Fortune" carves tofu into an edible "art piece", which is both beautiful and delicious.

In addition, Huainan’s delicacies include Wabu Lake whitebait, Gaotang Lake crabs, fried pancakes, sesame balls, etc. Everyone is welcome to come and taste them.
