Brief introduction of Gushi dialect: Gushi dialect is a special dialect, which represents the characteristics of a place: Gushi County (Qiaoba County). Blending with the local language in southern Fujian, the southern Fujian dialect has preserved the characteristics of Gushi dialect.

The connection between Gushi dialect and Minnan dialect;

The ancient pronunciation of the Central Plains preserved in Gushi dialect is very close to that of Minnan dialect, but there is no such special pronunciation in other dialects.

For example: call the sun "the sun", wake up and call it "get up", and the meatballs are called "mariko".

In some daily expressions, we can also see the phonetic origin between Gushi dialect and Minnan dialect.
