The White Dragon King is a royal ribbon fish, often mistaken for a "sea serpent".
It is the longest bony fish in the ocean, with a bright silver body, red ventral fins, and a paddle-like shape, which is why it was originally known as the "paddlefish" in English. The dorsal fin is also red, very long, as tall as a two-story building, and begins at the top of the head like a crown of bristles. Rarely seen on the surface of the water, some people occasionally see, mistaken for "sea serpent". People usually think that they are sweeping the seabed, destroying all the monsters, but also by the Southeast Asia has been mistaken for the legendary "dragon".
Because they live in deep water and have poor, gelatinous flesh, they are often considered inedible and therefore have no commercial value.
Habitat
The royal ribbonfish swims by swinging its long dorsal fin while its body remains straight, which is known as an ami type of swimming style. It has also been observed to swim in a vertical manner, which is believed to be a way for the royal bandicoot to find prey. The species lives alone except for spawning activities.
Royal banded fish are carnivorous fish that are aggressive and have been known to kill each other. Its diet consists of a variety of small and medium-sized fish, squid, krill and crabs. Despite its huge body and ugly face looks hideous horror, but the royal bandfish swimming speed is very slow, and does not have a strong killing force like the bandfish mouth full of sharp teeth, usually just head up tail down floating on the seabed, to be prey swam over the mouth when a mouth inhalation, and its hard upper and lower jaws enough to crunch the crustaceans.
