Alias Treadbridge and Mountain Eggplant [Nanfeng, Jiangxi]
It comes from Maesa japonica (Thunb.) Moritzi, a plant of Ardisia of Myrsinaceae, and is used as medicine by roots and leaves. It can be collected all year round, washed and dried.
Bitter and cold in nature.
Functional indication
Expelling wind and diuresis, stopping bleeding and reducing swelling.
Leaf: external use to treat traumatic bleeding.
Usage and dosage: 3 ~ 5 yuan; Apply appropriate amount of leaves to the affected area.
