Spinach type
Spinach belongs to dicotyledonous plants and is native to Iran. Nowadays, spinach is widely planted all over the world, and it is also one of the common vegetables in China.
Spinach attribute
Spinach belongs to the genus Panicum of Chenopodiaceae and is a cold-resistant vegetable. Its seeds can germinate at 4℃, the optimum temperature is 15-20℃, and the growth is not good above 25℃. The aboveground part can withstand the low temperature of -6-8℃, so it is a long-day crop. Under the condition of high temperature and long sunshine, plants tend to bolting and blossom.
What does spinach look like?
The height of spinach plant can reach 1 m, the root is conical, red is less than white, the leaves are halberd-shaped to oval, green, whole or with a few toothed lobes, and pineapple contains no powder. The stem is erect, hollow, fragile and juicy, with no or few branches.
Spinach-colored spinach ovary is spherical, with 4 or 5 stigmas, protruding cells, oval or nearly round, about 2.5 mm in diameter, flat on both sides and brown peel.
