Matters needing attention of 304 stainless steel

304 stainless steel is also a clean and tidy thing, which needs to be kept well at ordinary times. If there is chloride ion in the environment, it will corrode quickly and may even exceed ordinary low carbon steel.

Solution treatment must be carried out: that is, no alloying elements are dissolved in the matrix, which will reduce the content of alloying elements and lead to poor corrosion resistance. In order to prevent the secondary phenomenon, titanium and niobium were added in the process of making 304 stainless steel, and then stabilized to reduce intergranular corrosion.
