Blade of the Ghost is a TV animated work directed by Takahiro Omori. The first episode was broadcast on April 25th, 20 12. The Ghost Blade is adapted from the original work of Japanese light novel writer Takeo Shiqing and the light novel of the same name compiled by Noki Hiroshi, and the animated version is produced by Brain's Base. Tanjiro Zaomen, the main character of the animation, was accepted as an introductory disciple by Yanzhu Purgatory Star Shoulang, a "ghost killing team", thus being involved in the terrorist incident and desperate escape of the ghost killing team.
