Posting the couplet actually reflects the ancient rule that the right is the most important. In ancient times, people considered the right side to be honorable, so they would let the honorable people sit on the right side when they ate, and when they put up the couplets, they also reflected this rule, that is, they put up the couplets on the right side first, and then put up the couplets on the left side. In the pasting of couplets is not randomly pasted, it is a rule, in the pasting of couplets we should first paste the upper couplet, and then can paste the lower couplet, that is, the first right couplet pasted, can paste the left couplet, so it is in the order of the right to the left. This is actually people outside the ancient times when they take the right as the honor, so when they write and paste the couplets, they all think that the right side is noble, so the order is also from right to left.

Couplets are inherited from ancient times, so we should also inherit the ancient way when we put up couplets. Couplets are not posted according to our mood, it has its own rules, in the posting of couplets, we should first find out the first line of the couplet, that is, the right line of the couplet, and then paste the right line, and then take out the second line, that is, the left line of the couplet to paste it. Therefore, when pasting the couplet, we should pay attention to its order from right to left, not from left to right.

Because people write couplets from right to left, that is, the right couplet is the first couplet, and the left couplet is the second couplet, so we should also stick the couplets from right to left.
