The pinnate compound leaves are 25 cm to 50 cm long, with 5 to 9 leaflets, rare 13, oval to oval, and the terminal leaflets are usually larger, with a length of 5 cm to 15 cm and a width of 3 cm to 6 cm. The apex is acute or tapering, the base is round or wedge-shaped, sometimes heart-shaped, the whole edge or with inconspicuous blunt teeth.
