Diaolingguan Forest Park is a provincial-level forest park approved by Gansu Provincial Forestry Department in March 2004, and now it is a national AAA-level tourist attraction. The park is located in Zhongwan Forest Farm, southeast of Zhengning Forestry General Farm in Qingyang City. It is named after Qin Zhi Road, Xiongguan, the main peak of Ziwuling.
The park covers a total area of 9,300 hectares, of which the forest area is 88 12.8 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 95.5%. There are mountains and rivers, fresh air and abundant animal and plant resources in the park. There are only 222 species of woody plants belonging to 43 families and 82 genera, and there are more than ten kinds of rare and protected flowers in China, such as Paeonia rockii, leopard, bustard, black stork, mandarin duck, civet, jade belt sea eagle, heron and golden eagle.
The park consists of Diaolingguan, Zhongwan, Gaofengpo and Xiniuzhuang. The natural landscape of the scenic spot is unique, and places of interest abound. There was an important military passage in the Qin Dynasty-Qin Zhi Road. In ancient times, it was an important pass to go south to Guanzhong and north to frontier fortress-Diaolingguan; The site of Huangdi Mausoleum, which historians call the eternal mystery, and many ancient beacon towers and Meng Tian temples. The park features eco-tourism and is famous for its dense forests and strange fog. In early spring, the mountains are covered with flowers, in midsummer, the trees are shaded, in late autumn, the forest is dyed, and in the middle of winter, it is always known as the "blue sky". The park is rich in forest resources, pleasant climate, beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural connotation, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. This is a good place for people to travel, sightseeing and summer vacation.
