Even if you don't control your diet and exercise, your blood sugar will be within the normal range in a short time. This is what we call the honeymoon period. However, if it is not strictly managed, this "honeymoon period" will be short and short-lived, and blood sugar will continue to rise soon. Because your islet function has no reserve capacity, you will soon be "exhausted" if you work hard. 5. Monitoring and control objectives of diabetic patients:

1. Check that the fasting blood sugar is kept at 5~7mmol/L, and the blood sugar is 7 ~ 9 mmol/L 2 hours after meals;

2. Check that the glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) is less than 7% every three months;
