Guokui, also known as Guokui and dried steamed buns, is a traditional local pasta snack popular among urban and rural residents in Guanzhong area of ??Shaanxi Province and Wuwei area of ??Gansu Province. The cake is about two feet in diameter, round and thick like a pot lid.

Guokui originated as a gift from grandma to her grandson He Miyue, and later developed into a flavored convenience food.
