bullfrog
American frog
Also known as river frog and water frog. Originated in the United States, it was introduced to China in the late 1980s. It is a first-class edible frog with tender meat and delicious taste, and is widely cultivated all over the country. The main breeding methods are soil pond breeding, cement pond intensive breeding, cage breeding and rice field breeding, because frogs naturally prey on sports insects. Therefore, it is necessary to develop synchronous production of active feed for breeding American frogs. The main products that can form production scale are bread worms, earthworms, fly maggots and so on. However, the production of compound feed is the only way to develop intensive farming. At present, scientific research units have domesticated compound feed and achieved initial results. Because its appearance is very similar to bullfrog, bullfrog is often passed off as American frog, which leads to farmers' failure to achieve the expected output. Therefore, the identification of these two kinds of frogs is often the primary task of the success or failure of breeding.
