Boletus acidophilus :
The fruiting body is small to medium. The cap is 3.5- 10cm in diameter, hemispherical to oblate, with a layer of mucus, smooth, white at first, yellow to grass yellow soon, and light pink brown when old. Mushroom meat is light yellow and white with sour taste. The bacterial tube layer is lemon yellow to ochre yellow, and the bacterial tube is yellow and small. The stalk is 4- 10cm long and 0.5- 1cm thick, nearly cylindrical, solid, almost white at first, pink or brown later, with glandular spots. There is a fungus ring on the upper part of the stem. Spores are brown-blue.
In summer and autumn, it grows in groups in pine trees, fir trees and other forests.
Distributed in Sichuan, Liaoning and Tibet.
