Children go to college in other places, usually it's just me and my husband at home, and they go to their parents for dinner on weekends. My husband and I are both office workers, because we have entered middle age, and the requirements for diet are mainly safe, assured, clean, light, nutritious and healthy. When we first got married, people were lazy, so we often didn't have time to cook breakfast, so we bought some food outside and went to work directly. Now we basically cook it ourselves at home. "The age we can't afford" has begun to be very old.
I basically buy the dishes to be cooked the next day one day in advance, but the time for buying and cooking now is too tight. There is not much for two people, so it is good to eat enough. Too much will cause waste. The vegetable market is very close to our community and very convenient.
Breakfast:
My husband is responsible for making breakfast. He gets up early, but I like to sleep late. My husband's breakfast is also very simple, which can be roughly divided into several types: corn porridge, steamed bread, eggs, pickles, or rice and millet porridge, steamed buns, eggs, pickles, or wok noodles with a poached egg. Sometimes I go out to buy some fried dough sticks and make soy milk at home.
Breakfast should be nutritious, digestible and convenient.
This is the breakfast cooked by my husband this morning (two bowls of corn porridge, too hot to be served, three fragrant oils, a steamed bread, two eggs and a piece of bean curd).
Lunch:
I'm in charge of making lunch. The company is not very busy. I can come back early for a while. Lunch is also very simple. In winter, it's basically a pot of pork and cabbage stewed with vermicelli. Sometimes, tofu or beef balls are put in it, and each person has a bowl. After eating a steamed bun, it's hot and there is food and meat. This dish is always annoying.

Or potato stew, or stewed pork with bean curd and mushroom vermicelli. My family usually cooks stew at noon on weekdays, and sometimes stir-fry, for example, fried meat with celery, scrambled eggs with green peppers, and shredded potatoes with hot and sour taste. When cooking, it should be accompanied by a cold dish, cucumber mixed with vermicelli, tomato mixed with sugar, or a small dish of sausage.

The standard of lunch is a combination of meat and vegetables, which is delicious.
Dinner:
Dinner is basically cooked by me, mainly light, and the evening time is relatively long. I will cook millet porridge and then stir-fry a vegetarian dish, for example, vinegar-preserved cabbage, stir-fried shredded radish or carrot, stir-fried mushrooms, rapeseed, broccoli, etc. Sometimes I will make dumplings, eggs, leeks and fungus, Chinese cabbage and chicken vermicelli on a whim.
Dinner is light, so eating less is good for your health.
On weekends, we go to our parents' place for Saturday, and on Sundays, we basically stay at home by ourselves. With enough time, we can cook some relatively complicated foods, such as buying chicken, ribs, or cooking beef and mutton at home, or frying, stewing or marinating, as long as we like our own tastes. It is also a pleasure for two people to cook food together at weekends. We can eat our own food at noon and have a little drink at noon.
I've been with my boyfriend for two years, and I've lived together for almost a year and a half. Usually I cook and he washes the dishes. Because he likes fitness, I slowly like to exercise with him. Most of the food I eat will be based on fitness meals, but I will still go out to eat hot pot skewers in Chongqing on weekends, and I will also buy food and cook some home-cooked dishes myself. After all, he and I are heavy on taste. Now it is basically impossible for young people to eat breakfast if they don't go to work. Maybe it's brunch, but occasionally I will cook egg noodles for one night, or pack some wonton soup and put it in the refrigerator to eat it in the morning, and occasionally I will buy bread and biscuits with some hot milk. Of course, if I go to work, I will buy them on my way to work. I will eat them in the company at noon and cook them when I get home at night. A simple fried rice is covered with rice, and girls may rarely eat at night.
