What kinds of tea are there in China?

Six major tea families in China:

1, green tea: non-fermented tea (fermentation degree is zero). Representative teas are: Huangshan Mao Feng, Pulong Tea, mengding ganlu, Rizhao Green Tea, Laoshan Green Tea, Luan Guapian, Longjing Tea, Meitan Cuiya, Biluochun, Menger Tea, Xinyang Maojian Tea, Duyun Maojian Tea, Liping Queshe Tea, Guanzhuang Ganfa Tea and Ziyang Maojian Tea.

2. Yellow tea: micro-fermented tea (degree of fermentation:10 ~ 20m) Huoshan yellow bud Menger silver needle and Mengding yellow bud.

In the process of making tea, yellow leaves and yellow soup are formed by stuffy piling. It can be divided into "yellow bud tea" (including silver bud of Junshan in Dongting Lake, Hunan, Mengding yellow bud in Ya 'an, Sichuan and Huoshan yellow bud in Huoshan, Anhui), "yellow small tea" (including Beigangzai in Yueyang, Hunan, Maojian in Weishan in Ningxiang, Pingyang yellow soup in Pingyang, Zhejiang and Luyuan in Yuan 'an, Hubei) and "yellow tea" (including Dayeqing and Huoshan yellow tea in Anhui)

3. Oolong tea: Also known as green tea, it belongs to semi-fermented tea, that is, it is fermented properly when making, making the leaves slightly red, which is a kind of tea between green tea and black tea. It has both the freshness of green tea and the sweetness of black tea. Because its leaves are green in the middle and red in the edge, it is called "green leaves with red edges". Representative teas are: Tieguanyin, Dahongpao and Frozen Top Oolong Tea.

4. Black tea: fully fermented tea (fermentation degree is 80 ~ 90m), Qimen black tea, Litchi black tea, Hanshan red tea, etc. There are three main types of black tea: race black tea, kung fu black tea and red broken tea. Kung Fu black tea is mainly distributed in Guangdong, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces, with Chaoshan congou tea as the main product.

5. Black tea: Post-fermented tea (fermentation degree: 100m) Pu 'er tea, Liubao tea, Hunan black tea (Qujiang thin-slice gold tea), Jingwei Fuzhu tea (origin: Xianyang, Shaanxi)

The raw materials are coarse and old, and it takes a long time to accumulate and ferment during processing, which makes the leaves dark brown and pressed into bricks. The main varieties of black tea include Shaanxi Xianyang Fuzhuan Tea, Yunnan Pu 'er Tea, Hunan Black Tea, Hubei Laoqing Tea, Guangxi Liubao Tea and Sichuan Biancha.

6. White tea: lightly fermented tea (fermentation degree is 20 ~ 30m) with white silver needles and Bai Mudan, which are not fried or kneaded during processing. Only the delicate tea leaves with hairy back are dried in the sun or dried with slow fire, so that the white hairs are completely preserved. White tea is mainly produced in Fuding, Zhenghe, Songxi and Jianyang counties in Fujian, and also planted in Liping county in Guizhou province, including "Silver Needle", "Bai Mudan", "Gongmei" and "Shoumei". White tea and white hair are revealed. The more famous ones are Baihao Silver Needle from northern Fujian and Ningbo, and Bai Mudan.
