Saussurea tianshanica

Scientific name: Saussure a involucrata (Kar. Etkir.) sch.-bip. Alias: saussurea involucrata, also known as Saussurea involucrata, Alpine Saussurea involucrata and Lotus.

It is a perennial herb of Compositae, Saussurea and Saussurea. There are 23 species of Subgenus Saussurea, all of which are distributed in China. They are commonly distributed in the northern and southern slopes of Tianshan Mountain, Altai Mountain and Kunlun Mountain in Xinjiang, China, and are born on slopes, ravines, watersides and meadows.
