Also known as bowback fish, seven-star flying saury, Oriental saury, saury fish. Distributed in India, Myanmar, and Thailand.

Characteristics: Body length 80-90 cm. The front body is broad and thick, the tail is small and pointed, and the back is slightly arched. The body is gray and black, and there are 3 to 10 black spots with white edges on the side of the body from head to tail. The number is uncertain and varies depending on the fish. There are no black spots on the body surface of juvenile fish, only 10 to 15 light diagonal stripes, which turn into black spots after adulthood.

Feeding characteristics: Mild temperament, nocturnal, can be mixed with fish of similar species. The breeding water temperature is 22-28°C and the water quality is slightly acidic. Likes to eat live small fish, shrimps, etc.

Reproduction characteristics: Artificial reproduction is difficult.
