Plant morphology: Lithospermum, Dendrobium and Lycopodium
Perennial climbing herbs, up to 4 meters long. The lower part of the main stem has sparse leaves, which are drill-shaped, lanceolate, long and tapering at the apex, membranous, gray-white, and the upward leaves are smaller, green, thick leathery, and have an early-falling membranous pointed tail. The vegetative branches are many branches, and the last branch is slender, drooping and flat, with three rows of leaves, two rows of which are larger and stick to one side of the branchlet, and the other row of leaves is smaller and stick to the center of the other side of the branchlet, which is spiny. Spore branches are extracted from the buds with scaly leaves on the lower side of the vegetative branches, and they are multi-branched, with one sporangium spike at the top of the last branch. Sporangium spike cylindrical, somewhat pendulous; Spore leaves are broadly ovoid triangle; Sporangium is nearly round. September spores mature.
It grows on the edge of forests and bushes. Distributed in South China, Southwest China, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian, Taiwan Province and other places.
