How to Make Sweet and Sour Version of Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs ?
Blanch the ribs. Add 3 slices of ginger and 1 tablespoon of cooking wine
When the ribs turn white, remove them from the pot and rinse with water, then drain and set aside.
Pour a little cooking oil, add 4 pieces of rock sugar and sauté over low heat.
After the sugar melts, add the ribs and stir-fry until golden brown. (Be careful not to stir-fry the ribs for too long as they may get old)
Put in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
Add 6 tablespoons of Tim Ting sweet vinegar and stir-fry well
Add about 500ml of boiling water, then turn off the heat, cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
Open the lid when about a third of the water is left and turn up the heat to reduce the sauce, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.
After the sauce is finished, pour a little sauce on the bottom of the pot and sprinkle with white sesame seeds, which looks good and has a touch of sesame flavor ~ finish!
