Cowpea red is passed down from generation to generation.
Braised cowpea is difficult and takes a short time to make, so the number handed down is very small, which has always been the goal of collectors. Tianjin Museum collected a piece of red glaze of Kangxi cowpea, Taibai Zun. Its glaze color is red and green, revealing the strangeness of peach blossom and spring, just like the poem of Hongbeijiang in Qing Dynasty: "Green is like spring water, and red is like sunrise." Most of the cowpea red handed down are small pieces, such as, Zun, Liu bottle, chrysanthemum petal bottle and so on. There are three lines and six characters in the official kiln in regular script at the bottom, which are mainly stationery used by Kangxi court. Although there was a small amount of firing in Yongzheng period, the glaze color was dark. It's hard to see it after Yongzheng.
