Soak peanuts and glutinous rice for 4-5 hours in advance, and wash fresh zongzi leaves for later use.

Cut off the roots of the leaves. A big leaf can wrap a zongzi. If the leaves are small, you can wrap two leaves together, as shown in the figure.
Third step
Roll up zongzi leaves from the bottom to form a funnel shape.

Add appropriate amount of glutinous rice, a candied date, peanuts and a little red beans.

Fold off the leaves on the zongzi, wrap them several times, and seal the exits so as not to show the invagination.
