My son has been picky about food recently and just doesn’t like rice, which makes me more worried as a mother. So I tried my best to learn how to make this small flower roll, and steamed a pot for my children to eat every few days. No matter how much I eat, I never get tired of it. Today I will share with you how to make this little flower roll. This is a great trick for kids at home who are picky eaters!
Four is rich in protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, etc. It has the effects of nourishing the heart and kidneys, strengthening the spleen and thickening the intestines, removing heat and quenching thirst.
Ingredients: 500 grams of flour, 5 grams of yeast, 3 grams of aluminum-free baking powder, one tablespoon of sugar, appropriate amount of warm water (about 30 degrees), and appropriate amount of sunflower oil.
Steps:
1. Sprinkle yeast in warm water to activate. It will spread into pieces in about 10 minutes. Use chopsticks to break up the yeast.
2. Add baking powder and sugar to the flour and mix well. Add water while mixing to form a slightly softer dough.
3. Ferment in a warm place until 2-2.5 times in size. Take out the risen dough, sprinkle a little flour on the dough, deflate and knead until smooth.
4. Roll out into a slightly thicker large dough piece, brush with oil, roll into rolls and cut into small sections, put two into one, and press down with chopsticks.
5. Pinch one end with each hand, stretch it slightly, and twist it in the opposite direction.
6. Add water to the steamer, grease the drawer with oil, and place the prepared flower rolls on top while leaving gaps.
7. Cover the lid, let it rest for 15 minutes, bring to a boil over high heat, turn off the heat after steaming for 12 minutes, do not rush to open, wait 3 minutes before opening the lid to effectively prevent shrinkage. Steamed Hanamaki.
My son’s favorite thing to eat is this small flower roll, and he never gets tired of it no matter how much he eats it.
