2. If you can't eat more Portunus for three or five days, you can't preserve live Portunus by the above method. A better way is to make your own bathtub as a temporary breeding pond, so that the swimming crabs can enjoy it first: because the walls of the bathtub are smooth, the swimming crabs can't escape, and then gently pour the swimming crabs into the bathtub and fill it with water just to bury the swimming crabs. If the swimming crab stands up, it can breathe on the water, and a small amount of fish can be tasted according to the storage time and quantity.
3. Bundle the swimming crabs and put them in the cold room, preferably on the fruit floor. Spread a wet towel on the swimming crab. Don't twist it too dry. Do not fold towels. This will keep it for a while.
4. Prepare a plastic bucket/basin with a height of 30-50 cm. The inner wall of the plastic bucket/basin is smooth and difficult to get rid of. Put the swimming crab in, and don't fold it; Then add water to half the height of the swimming crab-mainly to keep it moist and not bury all the hairy crabs. If the water is too deep, the swimming crab will suffocate due to lack of oxygen. The barrel/basin does not need a cover, so the Portunus can be preserved in this way. When the temperature is not high, hairy crabs can be kept for more than 5 days.
