1. Chick culture technology. Chickens aged -6 weeks are in the brooding stage, and 7-12 weeks are in the breeding stage.
(1) drinking water and eating. Young pheasants should start eating 24 ~ 36 hours after hatching, drink water before eating, and start eating 1 ~ 2 hours after feeding. The seasoning should be soft, palatable, nutritious and easy to digest. Feeding frequency is 6 times a day for ~ 2 weeks and 5 times a day for 3 ~ 4 weeks.
(2) temperature control. The suitable brooding temperature gradually decreased from 35 degrees at first, and the downward trend was 1-2 degrees every three days for the first seven days, 1-2 degrees every other week in the later period, and kept at room temperature after 5 weeks.
(3) culture density. The density of cage rearing or box rearing gradually decreases with the breeding time. The density is 5-6 animals/m2 at the age of 1-1 days and 3-4 animals/m2 at the age of 1-2 days.
(4) immunization. Make immunization procedures according to actual needs.
second, adult chicken breeding technology. Feeding management at the age of 6-2 weeks is the key to ensure the growth and development of the bred pheasant, and the following four points for attention are mainly paid.
(1) Generally, chicks hatched from the end of March to mid-April will be transferred when they are 6-8 weeks old, and pheasants hatched in summer will be transferred when they are raised to 5-6 weeks old. Three days before the transfer, a special person should be assigned to work at night and give 24-hour light.
(2) To determine the pheasant to be kept as seed, in addition to the preliminary selection, the weight must be controlled in the later stage to ensure a higher egg laying rate and fertilization rate during the breeding period.
(3) The bred pheasant grows rapidly, and the beak can be broken for the second time between 5 and 1 weeks to effectively prevent pecking.
(4) In feeding management, attention should be paid to banning moldy feed and moldy padding, and controlling the indoor environment. It is also necessary to often disinfect with peracetic acid to prevent diseases.
