Location of acupoints
When sitting or lying prone, Ganshu acupoint is located on the back of the human body next to the spine, under the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra, two finger widths from left to right.

There is a close connection between physiology and pathology. When lesions occur in the organs, abnormal phenomena such as tenderness, sensitive points, induration, etc. often appear at the corresponding Shu points. Therefore, Ganshu points can also be used as reaction points for liver diseases to help diagnose diseases.
Liver refers to the liver; Yu Tongshu. Because the Ganshu point corresponds to the liver and is the place where liver qi is infused, it is an important point in the treatment of liver diseases, hence its name.
