Qiyang County, Hunan Province is the base camp of Jinhao Camellia Oil and the hometown of Camellia Oil in China. In order to ensure the sufficient supply of upstream raw materials and the development of the whole tea oil industry, in 2008, Jin Hao Company registered and established its subsidiary, Hunan Jin Hao Camellia Planting Co., Ltd., which specializes in camellia planting, and formed technical cooperation with the National Camellia Science and Technology Center hosted by Tan Xiaofeng, a professor at Central South University of Forestry and Technology, to provide tea farmers with related technical support and solutions for camellia breeding, planting, high yield and pest control.

In Yongxing County, Chenzhou, Jinhao Camellia Oil Company invested tens of millions of yuan to establish Yongxing Jinhao Camellia oleifera seed breeding base. Since the base was built last year, it has cultivated 6 million light-weight seedlings, which not only provided high-quality varieties for Jin Hao camellia oil, but also brought them into the unified planning of the provincial forestry department, providing seeds for camellia oleifera planting in the province and promoting the expansion of camellia oleifera industry. Jinhao Camellia Oil has been distributed in 1 1 cities and counties in the whole province through self-built land leasing and land shareholding, and leased barren hills and forests 1 1 10,000 mu, and invested 50,000 mu of forest land. It is planned to build 500,000 mu of high-standard camellia oil planting demonstration base in the next decade. Now, Yongxing 4000 mu Hao light substrate seedling planting demonstration base has been planted in February this year. The rolling hills of 4,000 mu are all newly developed high-quality camellia seedlings. It is conceivable that these high-quality seedlings will bring much industrial value to the development of camellia oleifera industry in China. The green and pollution-free growth environment is comparable to the nutritional components of olive oil, which makes tea oil, a traditional oil, bear great responsibility for the safety of Chinese people's edible oil in the reality of dumping and encirclement of domestic edible oil and foreign genetically modified oil.
