Also known as Euphorbia tenuifolia, Euphorbia lathyris, and Flying Wing.

From Euphorbia Euphorbia of Euphorbiaceae, used as medicine. In summer, the whole grass is harvested and dried for later use.

Original form of annual herb, up to15cm long, with white emulsion. Stems slender, creeping, much branched, usually red, slightly hairy. Simple leaves opposite, short petiole, oval to oblong leaves. Lavender blooms in summer. The new fruit is ovoid, triangular and pilose.

The taste is slightly sour, astringent and cool.

Function: clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, astringing and relieving itching. Bacillary dysentery, enteritis, diarrhea, hemorrhoid bleeding; External use for eczema, allergic dermatitis and skin itching.

Usage and dosage 0.5 ~1; Appropriate amount of external use, freshly decocted water to smoke and wash the affected area.
