Navel orange is a tree with little or no thorns, with oval or oval leaves, white flowers, a little reddish purple on the back, round, oblate or oval fruit, orange-yellow to orange-red, navel formed by some immature carpels at the top of the fruit, solid or half-full stone, and light yellow, orange-red or purple flesh. Flowering period is from March to May, and fruiting period is 10- 12. Late-maturing varieties will arrive in February-April of the following year.

Growing environment:

The annual rainfall suitable for navel orange planting is about 1600mm, the annual average temperature is 18-22℃, the absolute minimum temperature is not lower than -5℃, the monthly average temperature of 10℃ is not lower than 7℃, the annual effective accumulated temperature is 5500-6500℃, and the air relative humidity is 70%-280.
