Acupuncture therapy has a long history in China. According to the Records of the Grand Historian (史记-扁鹊倉公传), the ancient magician Bianqi used acupuncture to bring back a patient who had been in a coma for many days from the line of death. There is also a case in which Hua Tuo used acupuncture to treat Cao Cao's "head wind".
China's earliest use of acupuncture equipment is the stone needle, with the development of the times, replaced by iron, copper, silver, and now stainless steel needles. Modern needling is also combined with Chinese medicine meridian point therapy, thus achieving better results.
