Morphological characteristics of Pleurotus ostreatus
The fruiting body is medium-sized. The cap is light gray to coal gray-black. The cap is 6- 1 1.8cm in diameter, flat and hemispherical, with a funnel-shaped concave middle part, dry surface and fine fluff, and the edge is light and rolled in, without ribs. The mushroom meat is white, and the injured part turns red instead of black. Fungal folds are straight or nearly extended, pale yellow and white, red after injury, slightly sparse, unequal in length, thick and brittle, not forked, and often have transverse veins. The stipe is oval, 3-6cm long, thick 1-2.5cm, lighter than the cover color, and solid or soft inside. Spores are nearly spherical, with wart and reticulate, colorless, 7-9 μ m× 6-7 μ m. Pleated and fringed sacs are lanceolate or nearly fusiform, 53-88 μ m× 9.5-12 μ m.
