Prepare materials
There are not many materials needed to make Japanese-style teriyaki sauce. We only need to prepare the following materials:
-Soy sauce 1/2 cups
-Japanese wine 1/4 cups
-sugar 1/4 cups
-2 tablespoons honey
-2 tablespoons of miso.
-Jiang Mo 1 teaspoon.
-garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Step 1: Mix the materials.
First, we need to mix all the materials together. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, Japanese cooking wine, sugar, honey, miso, Jiang Mo and minced garlic, and stir until the sugar is completely melted.
Step 2: Boil the mixture.
Pour the mixture into a small pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Once the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat immediately, and then continue to boil for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Step 3: Cooling
Pour the boiled mixture into a bowl and let it cool. When the mixture is cooled, it will become thicker and taste better.
