Bean sprouts - plant observation diary 1
In the morning, I finished today’s extracurricular class. As soon as I got home, I hurriedly put down my schoolbag and excitedly started an interesting practical activity - growing bean sprouts.
I first grabbed a small handful of soybeans in the soybean can, haha! The beans look healthy, sunny, and full of energy, with only a few stunted. After careful selection, those bad beans were completely "outdated"---I threw them into the trash! Then, I found a paper cup, poured all the selected beans into the paper cup, and then added an appropriate amount of water, which just covered the soybeans. Finally, I covered it with a square rag and it was done!
I put the paper cup with soybeans on the windowsill, returned to the room, and looked forward to its changes tomorrow.

I held the corner of the rag with one hand and covered my eyes with the other. "Three, two, one", I excitedly opened the rag, but the hateful soybean poured me a basin of cold water---it turned out to be Nothing has changed at all and it pisses me off! I returned to the sofa dejectedly and continued reading. In the afternoon, when I was playing with my sister, I happened to pass by the window sill. I consciously lifted the rag again, took a look inside, and then turned around and left. Suddenly, I felt something was wrong, so I quickly broke away from my sister's hand and looked carefully into the paper cup. Wow! All the soybeans have swelled up, and even some very "fat" beans have sprouted two millimeters of sprouts! I happily held the paper cup and sang and danced, as if I had obtained a rare treasure
