The whole grass stems are branched and have short hairs on the surface. The leaves are opposite. Most leaves are wrinkled. The flattened leaves are oval or broadly oval, with a length of 2- 10cm and a width of 1.5-7cm. The top and tail tips are broadly wedge-shaped, with coarse serrations on the edges and short coarse hairs on both sides. Petiole length 1-8 cm. The fruit is obovate with a small amount of short hair on the upper part. Persistent stigma filiform. Slight gas and astringent taste; Slightly bitter.
