As an undergraduate from Peking University and a graduate from Tsinghua, to answer this question from personal experience, both universities have very strong resource advantages, but their styles are really different.

First of all, in terms of hardware conditions, the campus in Tsinghua is basically twice as large as that in Peking University. It is basically difficult to survive without buying a bicycle in Tsinghua, but it is feasible to walk to class every day in Peking University. The conditions of the teaching building are different. The library in Tsinghua is more humanized and can make appointments by credit card. However, Peking University can only look at the fate of grabbing seats, and I don't know if there is any improvement now.

Judging from the dormitory conditions, Tsinghua is indeed better than Peking University, especially the undergraduate dormitory. The Bauhinia apartment in Tsinghua goes to bed and goes to bed, and the two dormitories use a central hall, which is equivalent to the feeling of the living room. The decoration is relatively new, and the floor is tiled, while Peking University still has a dormitory with cement floor, and some dormitories are bunk bed.

From the perspective of canteens, the number of canteens in Tsinghua is completely superior to that in Peking University, and the degree of crowding is also very low. However, Peking University is building a canteen complex, which is expected to alleviate the problem of eating congestion in the future.

But there is one place where Peking University absolutely beats Tsinghua, and that is the subway station on Line 4 at its gate! ! ! Students who practice can enjoy great convenience, and it takes only ten minutes to walk from the dormitory to the subway station. However, the nearest subway station in Tsinghua is Xizhimen subway station on line 13, which takes more than ten minutes by bike or by bus. This is more convenient for students who want to practice during the summer vacation.

In terms of teaching resources, Tsinghua is good at science and engineering, while Peking University is good at arts and sciences. Departments of civil engineering, water conservancy and architecture can only apply for Tsinghua. Therefore, when choosing a school, you should also look at your professional wishes.

Judging from the mass organization activities, there is a hundred regiments' war in Peking University, and so is Tsinghua. Every year, there will be mass organization recruitment and a mass organization carnival next to Zi Cao, which is very fun. At this point, the two are comparable, and everyone can give full play to their hobbies.
